Graphic Design

Overview.

The course combines design principles and software, typography, digital illustration, digital imaging, page layout and prepress techniques, emphasizing the design process from preview to production. Students will be responsible for the design and implementation of a campaign consisting of a multi-component project in a variety of media forms. Students are expected to work individually and collaboratively to create branding, packaging, and interactive media prototypes. Each student is responsible for product design, critique and feedback, and portfolio and presentation development.
